Hi, today we have a difficult topic, decisions in our lives...
When I was a kid I used to say that I would like to be a civil engineer in mining and I didn't even know what it meant, I said it because I liked a little bit math, it sounded cool and for a strange reason my parents were happy with that idea...
But I was just a kid. Then in high school I found an interest in sustainability, specifically in renewable energy. Later when I was soon to finish high school I thought about studying law, philosophy, sociology or architecture, I like those kinds of things, but I only liked reading about philosophy and architecture.
I finally chose architecture. I made the decision after watching documentaries and reading books about masters of architecture, and I realized that what really interested me was the social role that the profession has, the ability to find the right questions to give the right answers.
At the university I discovered that the career was much more than what I thought, I no longer think all the time about how to focus the profession towards society, now I feel that simply this profession exercised correctly is a contribution to society and is a tool to combat inequality.
